Towny Realm - World Reset For 1.8

Hello Villagers!

The staff team have made this decision. It's time we reboot the Towny Realm with a fresh start for new ADVENTURES!

I cant give an exact date of the map reset, but it will take place once our server is working perfectly fine with Minecraft 1.8. This will include plugins and having to wait for them to update.


FAQ


Why are you having a map reset?

We have chosen to have the map reset because: The current Minecraft map was last changed during 1.3 or 1.4 Minecraft update. Since then the world has grown large and because of that we get some lag issues. During the update of 1.7 we was going to reset then, but the world was smaller and we extended the world boarders. A clean map refresh will allow new biomes to spawn closer to spawn and will allow players to find the biomes they want without having to travel longer distances!

What will happen to my Town?

The town will fall into the ruins of that map. We are sorry for any Town losses, but we look forward to new Towns to come!

What will happen to my items?

The items will not be transported over to the new map. This is because we want everyone to start from fresh as currently we have waaaay to many people with over powered items!

Will I loose my rank?

No!

Can I have a download link of the map?


I am afraid the map will not be shared by download. The reason for this is that we might get someone who tries to copy our server and claim that they are The Village Craft Network, Sorry!

I am sorry for any loss of creation and items, but this new map will open the next chapter in the Village Craft Network!

It is already confirmed! :O It will be when all the plugins are updated, and the 1.8 spawn is complete! I can't wait!
